Listening to the preaching at MorningStar in Ft. Mill--great word! Rick said that teaching about being filled with the Holy Spirit was thought of as being Full of the Spirit and he said it was "fuller". There's more to the full gospel than just that. I had kind of wanted to "put this out there"--unrelated to the preaching--Jesus said to Thomas who had said, unless I put my finger into the holes in his hands or thrust my hand into his side, I won't believe--Jesus said to him, stretch out your hand and thrust it into my side and be no more unbelieving but be believing. What I wanted to say--does this follow? is that we are not going to save him, he saved us. I also thought of the response :/ (The Lord loves you.) Rick just said, this is pretty arrogant and stupid :) Ouch. Wow, I forgot why I started writing this note. Oh, I see in my notes, "shopping in the biggest grocery store". Rick had a dream of us creating the greatest grocery store, really great. I don't think the emphasis is on "us and only us creating of our own selves that store". I remember when I was visiting IHOP for the global bridegroom fast for the years from 2011 through 2019 (Rick just mentioned "cynical and doubting"--I need to have my eye on the Lord and be on my knees in my heart.) I had a dream in those days of walking through a grocery store and thinking we don't make use of so many of the food options. In other words, we don't preach everything that is available for us to preach. Rick just said, that will kill the prophetic. and that "we've got to have that faith again". We don't want to just run off with an idea; I know what I'm going to do; I'm going to preach Zucchini. No, we still need to be led by the Lord. Just because it's a food; doesn't mean that now that's what we need to talk about. We need to talk about what the Lord is saying to his people right now. The Lord loves you. Thank God for the word. Praise the Lord. John Fullerton
