The first beast of Revelation is sometimes interpreted as a military force and the second as an economic system. Ironically, military and economic lust are the two main drivers of the AI industry. Consider the language describing the first beast of Chapter 13: "...the whole earth marveled as they followed the beast." Sounds like being excited about what AI can do for humanity. "...they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who can fight against it?” Sounds like bragging about a superior technologically advanced military. "...the beast was given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words," Sounds like military pride and trusting in bombs instead of God. "...it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them. And authority was given it over every tribe and people and language and nation," Conquering the saints sound like oppression because believers will not submit to AI (technology) as god, like the world will. "...and all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain." All God created human life starts with our names in the book of life. If we do not turn to Jesus, He easrses us from the book (see Rev. 3:5). Human lives created through genetic alterations and bionics, not originating from the mind of the Father, are not in the book of life. These abominations from the mind of man will worship the beast system that created them. All this is only the first beast. Consider the second, the economic beast: "...It had two horns like a lamb and it spoke like a dragon." Two horns like a saving lamb, but the mouth of a dragon means false savior, spirit of anti-Christ and trusting in wealth. "...It exercises all the authority of the first beast in its presence, and makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast..." "In its presence" speaks of AI combining military and economic power so that it can be worshipped for the false world peace it will appear to bring. One could go on and on in Chapter 13, but the scriptures are clear that the beast system is being built on our watch. It only takes one watchman to get the attention of the King to change these things.
