LEGACY I want to say first and foremost, that we are already and have been in a revival of our nation. As I’ve said before, and I will quote again, “the natural precedes the spiritual.“ 1 Corinthians 15:46 AMPC But it is not the spiritual life which came first, but the physical and then the spiritual. With that being said, we must learn to open our eyes and see what is coming through what is being done in the physical realm. We’re taking new territory as we speak and it is a battle of crossing over. Look at # 45 and #47. Yes I’m talking about President Trump. He holds the highest office of authority in our land. He is pursuing to bring the Bible back to schools and Christian values in our country. He is using his authority to restore law and order. He is using his authority to restore morality to this nation. He is fighting for the church and the injustices brought against us. These are just a few things he is doing. Now watch him closely in the team he is building. He is leaving a legacy. For the Democratic years before, and in between we have seen a spiritual war, played out in the natural between truth and deception. We have seen the relentless attack against President Trump. Donald Trump is a modern day hero of our time. His name will go down in history by the legacy he leaves behind. And his race is not over. He hasn’t called it quits after one term as president. No! He is in the race to win, not just make a few marks and in our nation’s history and in his life. Consider the Bible hero’s that you admire and follow their example. What if they had quit? Would they still be heroes in your eyes? We must not quit either. We must be courageous. We must not doubt. We should have faith. And we must never carry cowardice in our hearts. Revelation 21:7 AMPC He who is victorious shall inherit all these things, and I will be God to him and he shall be My son. President Trump is living his legacy setting an example to the nation and the church what it means to take courage and fight the good fight. 1 Timothy 6:12 AMPC Fight the good fight of the faith; lay hold of the eternal life to which you were summoned and [for which] you confessed the good confession [of faith] before many witnesses. I would challenge you to read Isaiah chapter45-47 and tell me it does not fit the bill for the times we’re living in. Folks, this is a picture of the Apostolic war we have ahead . Right now we should be trumpeting it in the church and from the house tops! Yes, indeed we are in the time of the TRUMPet! It’s time for us to grow up and make our mark on the world in the name of Jesus Christ. Ephesians 4:15-16 AMPC 15 Rather, let our lives lovingly express truth [in all things, speaking truly, dealing truly, living truly]. Enfolded in love, let us grow up in every way and in all things into Him Who is the Head, [even] Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). 16 For because of Him the whole body (the church, in all its various parts), closely joined and firmly knit together by the joints and ligaments with which it is supplied, when each part [with power adapted to its need] is working properly [in all its functions], grows to full maturity, building itself up in love. It’s time to be legendary. It’s time to leave a legacy from our lives. It’s time to live a life that builds a legacy! If you get anything out of what I’m saying, remember that word, LEGACY. We must not only watch a small percentage of people leading in the church do the work, but we must BE the workers in the harvest field. Our biggest harvest at hand is getting Christians saved, and truly born again again. Yes I meant to say again twice. Far too long we’ve had couch potato Christianity. We have not seen the Apostolic Church arise. Now is the time to be born again again. Now is the time to stand up and step in to your calling and make it sure. 2 Peter 1:10-11 AMPC 10 Because of this, brethren, be all the more solicitous and eager to make sure (to ratify, to strengthen, to make steadfast) your calling and election; for if you do this, you will never stumble or fall. 11 Thus there will be richly and abundantly provided for you entry into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We have done a disservice to the last generation and did not disciple them as mothers and fathers in the faith. 1 Corinthians 4:15-16 AMPC 15 After all, though you should have ten thousand teachers (guides to direct you) in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers. For I became your father in Christ Jesus through the glad tidings (the Gospel). 16 So I urge and implore you, be imitators of me. We must give this generation an example. We must disciple. For the last generation, we have not discipled. Now few imitate us because they’ve no seen an authentic example of what Jesus taught. This is in the church and the world. The great harvest is at hand. Even in 2020, the biggest battle of our lives started with COVID-19, which was the beginning of the plagues of our day. Trust and believe they will continue. We long for the day to walk in the “greater than these.” John 14:12 AMPC I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father. I would challenge you to read John 14:12-21 and ask the Lord if you are truly walking in these things in faith, prayer and obedience. Let me encourage you that if you truly grab hold of the words of Christ you will fulfill your destiny. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done or how you’ve walked up to the day that you truly commit. I assure you that the blood of Jesus can redeem it all and set you on course redeeming the time the enemy has stolen and bring you into your destiny. Ephesians 5:16 AMPC Making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity], because the days are evil. Ephesians 1:11-12 AMPC 11 In Him we also were made [God’s] heritage (portion) and we obtained an inheritance; for we had been foreordained (chosen and appointed beforehand) in accordance with His purpose, Who works out everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His [own] will, 12 So that we who first hoped in Christ [who first put our confidence in Him have been destined and appointed to] live for the praise of His glory! We’re all in this together as we become one with Christ and each other. Let’s put aside every hindrance, every ounce of bitterness, every form division between us, excluding no one, and take on the full armor of God bathed in the blood of Jesus Christ who died and resurrected on the third day taking the punishment for sin for all, once and for all. John 17:21-23 AMPC 21 That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me. 22 I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one: 23 I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me. Hebrews 12:1-2 AMPC 12 Therefore then, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who have borne testimony to the Truth], let us strip off and throw aside every encumbrance (unnecessary weight) and that sin which so readily (deftly and cleverly) clings to and entangles us, and let us run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us, 2 Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God. A few passages on Legacy for further study: Deuteronomy 6:6-9 AMPC 6 And these words which I am commanding you this day shall be [first] in your [own] minds and hearts; [then] 7 You shall whet and sharpen them so as to make them penetrate, and teach and impress them diligently upon the [minds and] hearts of your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down and when you rise up. 8 And you shall bind them as a sign upon your hand, and they shall be as frontlets (forehead bands) between your eyes. 9 And you shall write them upon the doorposts of your house and on your gates. Proverbs 13:22 AMPC 22 A good man leaves an inheritance [of moral stability and goodness] to his children’s children, and the wealth of the sinner [finds its way eventually] into the hands of the righteous, for whom it was laid up. 2 Timothy 1:5 AMPC I am calling up memories of your sincere and unqualified faith (the leaning of your entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness), [a faith] that first lived permanently in [the heart of] your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am [fully] persuaded, [dwells] in you also.
