“I’ve experienced many terrible things in my life, a few of which actually happened.” –unknown It has been estimated that people waste years of their life worrying about things that never happen. The Scriptures command us to "Be anxious for nothing" (Philippians 4:6). Anxiety is an ultimate form of pride, which assumes the problem is too big for God, so we must carry the weight of it. God resists the proud but gives His grace to the humble. For this reason we're told to "Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, casting all of your anxiety upon Him" ( I Peter 5:6-7). Anxiety is sin; it is pride; so get rid of it by giving your concerns to God!
