PLEASE PRAY FOR THE SUPREME COURT (SCOTUS) TO HAVE WISDOM FROM ABOVE. HISTORIANS BLAME FLAWED SCOTUS DECISIONS FOR THE CIVIL WAR, AND THEY CAN HAVE THAT KIND OF IMPACT. The courts are referees for society that allow us to play the game of life with with fairness and justice. No republic will last long without a strong, independent judiciary. Just as the best played games in sports are those when the refs are noticed the least, and the skills and intelligence of the players are allow to decide the outcome, The game can lose all credibility if a referee starts to make up their own rules. Likewise, governments function best the less courts or judges become the main story, or a major factor in how society functions. The management of society is not authority that has been given to the Judicial Branch, but to the other two. The Separation of Powers clause in the Constitution requires that each of the three branches of government stay within their own lane, and not encroach on the authority of the other two. When the courts, or judges, try to "legislate from the bench" or establish laws or policies by their decision, this is a violation and an encroachment on the Legislative Branch. When courts or judges do this with Executive Orders of the President, which are for the President to exercise their legal authority over the Executive Branch, it is a violation and an encroachment on the Executive Branch, just as it would be for the Legislative or Executive Branch to pass legislation, or issue Executive Orders for the Judiciary. It is not within the Constitutional authority of the Judicial Branch to interfere with legislation or Executive Orders because they think they see a better, or even fairer or more just, way of doing something. This in the authority of the Legislative and Executive Branches given to them in the Constitution and by the vote of the people to manage for them. When the Judicial is used to mange these it is an end run around the democratic will of the people. Suggestions are one thing, but court orders to usurp the Constitutional and legal responsibilities, and management of the Legislative and Executive Branches is at the root of much of the discord in the country today. SCOTUS can begin to reduce this and avoid a major Constitutional Crisis, or even another civil war, by how they decide some of the cases now before them. They can begin to bring a desperately needed restraint on the Judicial Branch that has gotten very far out of its lane.
