Correction is Direction the Second Time. In a world where bad parenting and poor leadership are all too common, many people now view correction as an insult, an attack, or even rejection. But that’s not true correction. That’s abuse. Nonetheless, if we want to walk in truth, we have to see from a higher perspective — God’s perspective. When God first speaks to us about our future — whether through Scripture, a dream, a deep stirring that’s been with us for years, a vision, a calling, or a desire that lines up with His Word — He is giving direction. But when we drift, fail, or rebel, His grace doesn’t just cover our mistakes — it corrects us and redirects us back to the path He designed. That is real correction. Correction from God is a gift. It’s for our good. We should be grateful for it — not offended by it — because it’s what aligns us with everything we were born to do and everything our spirit actually longs for. Most people in the prophetic movement today don’t need another fresh word of direction. They need the correction that brings them back to the original word they were already given. Correction is not rejection — it is proof of His love and guidance. It is not a setback; it is a step back in the right direction. Thank you God for correction! “For whom the Lord loves He corrects, just as a father the son in whom he delights.” (Proverbs 3:12, NKJV)
