SPURGEON ONCE SAID THAT HE COULD FIND TEN MEN WHO WOULD DIE FOR THE BIBLE FOR EVERY ONE THAT WOULD READ IT. When individual Christians don't read The Bible for themselves they will be easily fooled by those who claim something to be biblical that is not. Then heresies that are contrary to The Bible can become accepted beliefs, and soon be considered orthodoxy. EVERY CHRISTIAN HAS A RESPONSIBILITY TO READ THE BIBLE just as the children of Israel had to gather manna for themselves each day. If we don't do this we don't have much of a right to complain about the crazy doctrines and practices that so many Christians get carried away with. In fact, if we are one who does not read our Bibles we will likely believe a growing number of these ourselves. LIKEWISE, THERE ARE MANY OPINIONS ABOUT WHAT IS CONSTITUTIONAL, AND NOT,. MANY OF THESE ARE THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT IS ACTUALLY IN THE CONSTITUTION. I WOULD LIKE TO PROPOSE THAT IF ANYONE IS GOING TO SWEAR AND OATH TO DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION THEY SHOULD FIRST BE REQUIRED TO READ IT!
