TODAY PRESIDENT TRUMP TOOK THE FIRST AND BIGGEST STEP TO DO WHAT HAD TO BE DONE TO RECOVER EDUCATION IN AMERICA--ABOLISH THE FEDERAL DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION, AND RETURN THE AUTHORITY AND RESOURCES BACK TO THE STATES AND THE PEOPLE. Since this department was formed during the Carter Administration, education in America fell from being one of the best in the world, to now being the worst, and the trend is still going down. This is a story that needs to be told in detail so that, if possible, our federal government does not do this kind of thing to the American people again. This is a start to what will likely be a long, hard battle, but its one of the most worthy fights we can engage in for our country, our future, and our children. It is not the destruction of public education as the fear peddlers are claiming, but it is actually the only thing that can save it.
