THE IRRESISTIBLE FORCE MEETS THE IMMOVABLE OBJECT! This happened in the White House Oval Office yesterday with Trump and Zelenskyy. There was no winner, but there was a loser--Ukraine. The implications are huge. The whole world has marveled at Ukraine's courage, resourcefulness and endurance in this tragic war. These attributes in the Ukrainian people are worth much more than the rare earth minerals in Ukraine could ever be. But without wise leadership, these could lead to Ukraine's demise. Zelenskyy has also been a remarkable war time leader. All leaders are unique, and there can be a big difference between an effective war time leader and a good peace time leader. Very few in history have been able to be good at both. Zelenskyy should be celebrated for the way he has led his country through this terrible war, but at this time when peace must be achieved or Ukraine will not survive as free, independent country, the chances are very slim now that it can be achieved under Zelenskyy's leadership. The onslaught that obliterates what is left of Ukraine is much more likely to come after the events of yesterday. But we believe in miracles, and we need to pray for one now in this situation. There are factors contributing to this situation that are not public in the West. The wise learn that there is always at least two sides to every story. There is a big other side to this situation that has not been presented in the West, which we need to know to really understand what is happening in this crisis. To dig into this may now be the only opportunity for Ukraine to survive. When Winston Churchill was asked what World War II should be called, he replied, "The Unnecessary War" because the leaders of the time had missed so many opportunities to prevent it. Pray this does not happen now.
