Update: Nancy Miosi I want to share a special experience Nancy had today which is testimony to how the Lord is with her through this ordeal. This morning at 10 AM, Lisa (daughter) was getting ready in the bathroom of Nancy’s hospital room. The gurgling sound of her hydrated oxygen filled the quiet space of the room. When I stepped back to her bedside, Lisa found her with her eyes wide open and a sense of wonder had filled her face. “A big white cloud just came into the room, and it stopped right at the foot of my bed… What do you think that was?” I told her I believed it was the presence of the Lord — a reassurance that she wasn’t alone, He was with her and that God’s people were with her too. I know we all know the ‘pillar of cloud’ from the Old Testament was indeed a sign of God’s presence and it occurred most often, I believe, when God’s people were in unity towards His Purpose. I very much believe His purpose is to heal her (through medicine and the supernatural working together), and through this shared journey, I believe something is igniting further within us. Throughout the afternoon she has been sleeping and she occasionaly wakes up saying, “Jesus, my Lord….my Lord…Jesus.” 💓 Nancy had a very good night and her vitals have returned to normal with the help of the doctors, some meds, and plenty of oxygen. The tests have revealed her heart is fine! Praise Jesus. The CT scan revealed that Nancy has fluid build up in and around both of her lungs thereby limiting her oxygen intake. In addition, there is fluid build up around her organs in the abdomen area. The low oxygen (dipping to 83) caused the crisis with her heart which in turn set in motion the cascading emergency we experienced yesterday. You all prayed her through that and Jesus showed up no doubt. So, they put her on a med to reduce the fluid build up. In addition, she will have a procedure today with a needle to extract the fluid from her lungs and around her lungs. This is our prayer request today, for the procedure to go well and for Nancy to have minimal pain with the procedure. I’m also happy to report that her White Blood cell count has returned to normal due to the chemotherapy this week. This will allow her bone marrow to begin to make normal cells instead of the malignant cells self propagating, leaving no space for the healthy ones.
