The Biblical month of Adar begins February 28, 2025 at sundown. Adar 5785: A month of culmination! Looking ahead into Adar 5785, the 12th month of the Biblical calendar. Adar in the Hebrew year 5785 signifies a time of heightened spiritual breakthrough, marked by increased grace, new beginnings, and a "double portion" of God's favor, often associated with the theme of "stepping into your spacious place" where limitations fall away and new opportunities arise; it's considered a period for experiencing significant expansion in various aspects of life, both personally and spiritually. Completion: Adar is the last month of the biblical year, and in this way represents completion. Holiness: Adar is a time to remove personal barriers to holiness. Hearing God's voice: Adar is a time to position our hearts to listen and hear before we can carry God's message to others. Conquering enemies: Adar is a time to conquer our enemies. On Adar the Mazal (fortune) is strong to give them hope for a good end (Ibid). Adar is known to be the month of success and victory. Pisces is the constellation for Adar. It appears as 2 fish. The 2 fish represent the oral (spoken) and the written word of God. The water represents the word of God. As fish we are hidden in the depths of the sea we swim in the waters of the the word of God. As the fish are hidden in the depths of the sea we are hidden in the depths of the Word of God who is Christ. We are swimming in the depths of what He speaks to us - Christ is the Word. John 1:1 NKJV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Habakkuk 2:14 NKJV For the earth will be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, As the waters cover the sea. Isaiah 11:9 NKJV They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord As the waters cover the sea. Events in Adar Ezekiel foretold Egypt's downfall on Adar 1 in 421 BCE. Moses was born and died on Adar 7. The plague of darkness began on Adar 1. The Second Temple was completed on Adar 3. Moses completed the Torah on Adar 6 in 1273 BCE. Holiday Adar is also the month of Purim, a celebration of Israel's rescue from the Persian leader Haman's genocidal plot. We will see Haman taken down and there must be a strategic plan in operation to do that. Esther was strategic in the favor that the Lord placed on her life. She had a mission from the Lord. She was not flippant. She was focused. She stuck with the plan. Like Esther’s strategic plan to expose Haman’s evil plot to destroy her people, God is strategizing through our government to take down the Haman at work in our nation. We are seeing the deconstruction of Haman’s wicked work and we will see Haman not only exposed but taken from his place of power in the shadows. The natural precedes the spiritual therefore the natural is prophesying to us. Let’s consider the favor that God has given us in this month of Adar and how we must be strategic and stick to God’s plan, not allowing the “Haman” plotting of the enemy to succeed. This will be a great time of victory for the church in her “Esther moment”. Let us finish well in this 12th month of God’s calendar.
