Update on Nancy Miosi Nancy has a new pain management regime as we met with the pain doctors today. They have upped her dose and given a new additional pain med as well. She is in a difficult place where the pain from the cancer in her bones is pressing up against the treatment head to head. But little by little, the medicine will push back and win and the pain will diminish as the cancer dies. She’s on a medicine which also helps the body clear Uric acid which is heavily produced when the targeted drug therapy kills the cancer cells. This puts pressure on her kidneys, (thus she has stage 3 kidney disease at the moment, but that will change)and so this medicine helps support that whole process. Just a few things to pray for. She is doing well for this part of her journey. 💓
