UPDATE FOR NANCY MIOSI PRAYER She has a new PICC line instead of an IV line, which is much more comfortable for her with the constant blood draws, IV’s and intravenous medicine. So this is an improvement for her care. Her pain continues to diminish and she started some very small physical therapy to prepare her for her return home. She will continue as an outpatient for her treatments, and we plan to take care of her at home so she is safer as her immunity diminishes with the cancer targeted drug therapy. We talked to her doctor concerning the time length she will receive treatments - and he said that we hope to get her to a controlled MM within 6 to 12 months of treatment depending on how she responds. They don’t consider this cancer to go into remission fully, but it can be carefully controlled and the person can live a relatively normal life with careful monitoring. Thank you all so much for praying her through to this point! Her life was very much in danger last week and we feel so much stronger with her health position now.
