The DEPT. OF EDUCATION IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL because the 10th Amendment states that all authority not specifically given to the Federal Gov. in the Constitution remains with the states and with the people. Nowhere does the Constitution give authority over education to the Federal Gov. When the Federal Dept. of Education was formed under President Jimmy Carter the U.S. was at the top of the world in education, but the plunge began immediately. Now we are 40th in the world out of the top 40, with third world nations passing us. What changed? Centralized unconstitutional government control, that was quickly seized by the left and politicized and unionized. President Trump is right about the Dept. of Education being a con-job, and needs to go right away. It needs to go back to the states who were doing a much better job with education without the interference of the inept Federal Gov.
