Dip, Anyone? Matthew 26:18-25 states, He said, Go into the city to a certain man and say to him, The Master says: My time is near; I will keep the Passover at your house with My disciples. 19 And accordingly the disciples did as Jesus had directed them, and they made ready the Passover supper. 20 When it was evening, He was reclining at table with the twelve disciples. 21 And as they were eating, He said, Solemnly I say to you, one of you will betray Me! 22 They were exceedingly pained and distressed and deeply hurt and sorrowful and began to say to Him one after another, Surely it cannot be I, Lord, can it? 23 He replied, He who has [just] dipped his hand in the same dish with Me will betray Me! 24 The Son of Man is going just as it is written of Him; but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been better (more profitable and wholesome) for that man if he had never been born! 25 Judas, the betrayer, said, Surely it is not I, is it, Master? He said to him, You have stated [the fact]. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 states, Let no one deceive or beguile you in any way, for that day will not come except the apostasy comes first [unless the predicted great falling away of those who have professed to be Christians has come], and the man of lawlessness (sin) is revealed, who is the son of doom (of perdition), 4 Who opposes and exalts himself so proudly and insolently against and over all that is called God or that is worshiped, [even to his actually] taking his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming that he himself is God. Righteous Judgement and accountability are vital in the Body of Christ, and should always be Rooted in Love—The Tree of Life (Genesis 2:9, John 15:1-12). There is a Way, and the Way produces Life. Concerning wolves and false disciples, the scriptures are clear that we are to beware of them (Matthew 7:12-23), but not all are wolves. Many have not been properly discipled and trained in experiential knowledge. We should give great thanks to God for granting us the grace and privilege, to peer into the lives that have gone before us, to learn what and what not to do. Many have missed it, and some have missed it big like Peter, but Jesus prayed for them (John 17), and you. This is why we must remain humble. Past generations did not have all the teachings and discipleship we have today (on internet). Praise God, this generation is abundantly blessed, due to the lives who have gone before them. Beware, too much information can draw you away from abiding in Him and “downloading” the Truth, the Way, and the Life. Let’s pray, deep revelation comes concerning the Way, the Truth, and the Life (the cross), so what’s sown, will reap a great Harvest for His glory! Remain close to the Lord’s heart and righteous discernment will come. The fruit that causes to rob, kill, and destroy, is produced by the father of Lies (John 8:44, 10:10), rooted in The Tree of The Knowledge of Good and Evil (Genesis 2:16-17). This fruit may seem “good,” but the “good” is rooted in the knowledge of evil. Proverbs 14:12 states, There is a way which seems right to a man and appears straight before him, but at the end of it is the way of death. Don't "dip" presumptuously in arrogance "with Him" at The Communion Table of Fellowship. There is a Way, and it’s not dishonoring, devouring, and disrespecting His Body. We need to “lean back” at the Table in humility, and wait upon Him—The Head of Table, Who is Christ.  Do not “dip” thinking you are God, knowing His ways. Don't be deceived in thinking this can't be you (Matthew 26:25), and “take things into your own hands” (John 17:12). He is High Priest (Intercessor) and King.  Seek Him, for His Ways and thoughts are higher, and you may begin to see a Plan, exceedingly beyond what you could’ve ever asked or imagined!
