PLEASE PRAY FOR THE VICTIMS, FAMILIES AND LOVED ONES OF THE AIRLINE CRASH LAST NIGHT CAUSED BY A COLLISION WITH AN ARMY HELICOPTER WHILE LANDING AT THE REAGAN AIRPORT IN DC. While we mourn for the lost, and pray for wisdom for the investigators to find out how this happened to help prevent similar mistakes like this in the future, we should also be thankful that the reason why all airline and general aviation crashes are such big news, is that they are so rare. For the number of flights and people flying today, air travel remains one of the safest ways that we can travel. This being said, it is right to learn everything we can about every crash or mishap to seek to make all travel even safer. But the only way to be completely safe from travel hazards is to not travel. We are not called to live by fear, but by faith. As terrible as this tragedy was that happened in DC last night, it will help make air travel even safer. We should also consider that those who will make this happen are bureaucrats. There may be many bureaucrats freeloading on the American people that need to be cut from the bureaucracy, but there are some who are heroes who work very hard to make our lives safer and better, and they do this job very well.
