I visited the Western North Carolina disaster area yesterday with some friends. The devastation and suffering there continues as temps dropped to 4 degrees the previous night, and quite a few are still living in tents. President Trump is visiting there today, and I expect will begin to fix the disaster that FEMA has been. Even so, what is really needed there is something far greater than anything FEMA or the government can bring--HOPE! Many churches, Christians, and gracious Americans have done a lot for WNC, but it has just "scratched the surface" of what is needed. We took perhaps the first small step for us to get engaged for the long haul this is going to be. I'm doing this because it is the right thing to do, but also because I think this is what I saw in 1987 that would be the beginning of the last day harvest. I will have more to say about this in a Rick's Rant I do today. I also think the fires in California will bring a radical change in many ways that will ultimately result in California being once again the flashpoint of multitudes coming to the Lord. Get engaged as you can in these two great spiritual opportunities.
