Many prophetic believers have bought into the 24-hour news cycle framework. We get tossed around by whatever the prevailing opinions are just like waves being tossed by the wind. But there is a better way: use your gift to sink your anchor beyond the veil by setting your eyes on eternal things, and get the Father’s perspective on the advance of His kingdom from the ancient times all the way through our future glory. You can become unshakeable when you set the proper focus. If people demand you step out of that focus, don’t yield. Instead, invite them into the peace and liberty that only comes with the upward gaze. See Colossians 3:1-3
