2024 was a great year, though we did have some challenges. They are one of the reasons why it was a good year, as we are promised in Romans 8:28 that "all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purposes." I have never seen that promise fail. This is also why we should "in all things give thanks." We will do this if our faith is in Him, and not just an outcome, which we are never told to put our trust in. I've lived long enough (75 years) to have witnessed why the Lord did not answer many of my prayers and give me the outcome that I wanted. Now I pray for His perspective on the right outcome before I pray. What a great Father and Lord we have! So let's thank Him for 2024, regardless of how we think it went, and for 2025 now. It will all work out for those who love Him.
