David was a shepherd, -perhaps, not an impressive one to many at the beginning. He was even overlooked by his own father and brothers. However, God chose to use him to literally slay the great giant, Goliath, who defied the armies of Israel and God Himself. Don’t compare your life to anyone else (those you may think have better training or better circumstances in life) and never let anyone limit your vision or dictate your future. The time will come when you must step forward but until then, be faithful in what God has put in your hand to do now. I Samuel 17
