Virtually every crises is the result of us thinking we could run this world without God. The answer to them is to turn to God. This is not just because He has the answers, but He is the answer. When we watch the news, don't just get upset at the failures, but pray for the Lord to raise up His champions in every field that will have His wisdom and His answers, that we might, as a nation, return to the only foundation that can stand the shaking that is now upon us.
