In 1997 I was sitting in church praying, eyes closed, and a vision came: I was looking at an expanse of ocean with the sun setting halfway into it, the water was bright brass. I stared at it for awhile and finally asked the Lord what it was. He said, “The time of the Gentiles is nearly over.” A couple months went by and the same scenario presented itself; this time however it was a wheat field that filled my vision. The sun had just set and it was still quite light near to me but in the distance it was already dark. I watched it for a while and asked the Lord what it was. He replied, “The time of the gentiles is nearly over.” As I contemplated the visions (a very rare occurrence for me) I was led to Pharaoh’s dreams and Joseph’s words. “As for having two similar dreams, it means that these events have been decreed by God, and he will soon make them happen.” Whenever I get lax in beseeching the Lord of the harvest to thrust out laborers I remember these visions and renew my intensity, time is short. Regardless of how many days remain, for scores of people, today they will stand before Him.
