The Curse Take heed that it is not through your own mouth. Your mind has a mouth. Your thoughts speak. Again I say: -The mind is a battlefield -Our thoughts must produce the fruit of the Spirit -Our thoughts are blessing and cursing. -Out of our mouth is execution. Remember the words of Jesus: Matthew 5:21-22 21 “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.’ 22 But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’ shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of hell fire. Matthew 5:27-28 27 “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. -Our thoughts commit adultery for anything we lust after that is outside the will of God. -Our thoughts commit grave sins that can lead us to hell. -We must renew our minds, Proverbs 4:23 "Be careful what you think, because your thoughts run your life". Romans 12:2 "Do not copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think". Isaiah 26:3 "When you keep your mind on the Lord you will have perfect and constant peace". Hebrews 4:12 "The word of God is living and powerful...and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart". Romans 12:3 "For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you [that includes you listening to my voice at this moment!] not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think". Philippians 4:8-9 "Think about these things: whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if anything is worthy of praise.
