On November 10th the Lord spoke to me as I woke early Sunday morning from a dream and started praying over the new era we're entering post-election.  I had been seeing in my dream a picture of Kamala Harris in the now iconic open-mouth laughing posture.  With that image in my dream, I was being shown those many times when she couldn't articulate a coherent message, with many calling her answers "word salad",  I heard the Lord speak to my spirit these words,  "I caused that to happen".  He was referring to the numerous word salad answers.   I was immediately awakened.  I lay considering that statement and scriptures came to mind that represented times when the Lord caused confusion in the enemies camp.  I thought of the confusion in the enemy’s camp during Gideon's triumph as he and his small army stood in unusual battle array of trumpet and lamp, in a night watch, in obedience to the Lord.  At the Lord's prompting, and a declaration of victory, there arose confusion in the enemy’s camp with the sword of one being wielded against the other. The scripture makes it clear the confusion within the camp of the Midians was orchestrated by the Lord, not by a man.  But it was in practical, physical partnership, in faith, with an obedient prayerful humble Gideon and his men that it was accomplished according to the Lord's intention.  Yes, he had to be encouraged that God would use him even though he doubted his own ability for influence. Let us learn from that. I also thought of the example in Exodus 23 where the Lord instructs concerning an angel of the Lord being sent to guide his people. The instruction was that they not rebel but pay close attention and do according to the instruction, which came with the promise that God would oppose those who opposed his people. With the instruction not to follow the practices of the enemy came the promise that the Lord would “throw into confusion any nation who opposes them”  and will drive all enemies out little by little “until they increase enough to take possession of the land.”  I believe this is what we're experiencing right now. We are to increase and increase still more until we are able to take possession of all that God has for us in this era of God’s power being released.  My thoughts then went to Psalm 2 where it is written” why do nations conspire and the people plot in vain? The kings of the Earth rise up and the rulers band together against the Lord and against his anointed". It goes on to say ”He that sits in the heavens shall laughs. The Lord shall have them in derision". We saw that happen in this election. It was nothing short of a miracle that the whole world and especially those in our nation could see and hear and actually finally know just what was going on, as the Lord once again caused derision in the camp of a people who stood against righteousness.  And as the people of God prayed, the people of our nation began to have discernment, and things became very clear.  Those that previously could not discern truth were able, by the anointing and power of prayer, to discern and they voted accordingly.  All of us that have realized the dior need for intercession and involvement at some level in local or federal concerns must now, while reveling in thankfulness, continuing to build with trowel and sword and not rest on our laurels.  We must, all the more, continue the partnership of responding in obedience to the instruction of the Lord. We can't relent while the new era unfolds before our eyes. We were born for such a time as this. We must be more involved than ever.  Seek to know the way you can make an impact in addition to your prayers. By all means pray all the more. And, no matter our physical limitations, financial circumstances or inexperience, there is something each one can do in addition to prayer.   God’s instruction and desire to partner with his people REQUIRES our response. Scripture examples are pretty clear that prayer rarely works independently of our involvement. -Selah Scripture indicates the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing. Why not be one of them? Even part time grass roots involvement, in addition to praying is better than no involvement.
