It is a time to celebrate, and catch some rest, but it is not time to drop our guard, or to just look for 47 to do our job. Trump has proven to be one of the most courageous, resilient, resolute leaders in history, not just in American history. Since the founding of our nation, we have not witnessed anyone who has risked his fortune, his honor, his freedom, and even his life, for his country, like Donald Trump has. Now let us follow this extraordinary example of perseverance and faithfulness to a great vision, and do the work that has just started to see it completed. It's a truly remarkable victory, but the battle has just begun. Some of history's greatest defeats came after great victories when the victors celebrated too much, let down their guard, and gave their foe time to regroup and strike back.
