Then later in the night when I woke from sleep I went to Youtube and searched for testimonies from the Brownsville revival. I found a video of John Kilpatrick talking to a church audience about the revival. He approached the beginning of the revival committed to revival but not prepared for it in the moment. Two earliest experiences were that when he first went to pray for folks who had come forward for prayer he felt swirling air around his ankles and a sound of wind. From the sound, he thought something was wrong with the sound system. Then his ankles folded over and someone had to guide him to his chair, then he ended up on the floor for 4 hours unable to open his eyes though hearing the sounds in the room including alternations of laughing and mourning culminating in an interwoven sound of praise. When he did open his eye he saw a girl of about 3 years of age with a face red from tears and a shirt front wet with tears looking up and her mother asked her if she was ok and the girl said, oh mother, don't you see the angels in the ceiling holding hands? Then I searched for testimonies from the Toronto revival and heard John Scotland preach. One thing he said more than once was the party is just getting started (I'm not saying, we're going to do that too.). He later quoted Jesus saying, I have come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly. His demeanor was as though drunk. At one point a woman was laying on her back at the front of the audience kicking her legs and circling her arms as though enthralled with what was being said and agreeing with all her heart. Have a nice day John
