I have been sick now for a while or suffering some malady and today I was thinking how many times I've prayed about it. Trusting the Lord for healing, making requests about it, and I realized if I was this sensitive to other people when they were in pain, I would be much more prone to want to pray for them. Many times it mentions that Jesus had compassion on other folks. Now my pain has been mild enough that there was just enough pain to get my attention. In terms of being sensitive to other people, the picture comes to mind of being at rest, stirred to respond to something, rising from sitting, looking to see what's going on. Also in regard to healing maybe the Lord is teaching me how to believe for healing.
