“MY WAY!” THE “FRANK SINATRA” BIBLE (My Way) Does It “My Way”—The Way of the Flesh No Cross—No Crucifixion Defends Itself (Right or Wrong) On The Offense (Right or Wrong) Uncovers Others Partial Remorse and Repentance Reputation Manipulates Fears THE BIBLE (The Jesus Standard) YOU ARE CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST—TAKE UP YOUR CROSS! I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me (Galatians 2:20). Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it (Matthew 16:24-26) LOVE KNOWS NO OFFENSE—NO DEFENSE Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). LOVE COVERS (1 Peter 4:8) Above all things have intense and unfailing love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins [forgives and [a]disregards the offenses of others]. GOD IS LOVE (1 John 7-21) Beloved, let us love one another, for love is (springs) from God; and he who loves [his fellowmen] is begotten (born) of God and is coming [progressively] to know and understand God [to perceive and recognize and get a better and clearer knowledge of Him]. He who does not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him], for God is love. In this the love of God was made manifest (displayed) where we are concerned: in that God sent His Son, the only begotten or[a]unique [Son], into the world so that we might live through Him. In this is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation (the atoning sacrifice) for our sins. Beloved, if God loved us so [very much], we also ought to love one another. No man has at any time [yet] seen God. But if we love one another, God abides (lives and remains) in us and His love (that love which is essentially His) is brought to completion (to its full maturity, runs its full course, is perfected) in us! By this we come to know (perceive, recognize, and understand) that we abide (live and remain) in Him and He in us: because He has given (imparted) to us of His [Holy] Spirit. And [besides] we ourselves have seen (have deliberately and steadfastly contemplated) and bear witness that the Father has sent the Son [as the] Savior of the world. Anyone who confesses (acknowledges, owns) that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides (lives, makes His home) in him and he [abides, lives, makes his home] in God. And we know (understand, recognize, are conscious of, by observation and by experience) and believe (adhere to and put faith in and rely on) the love God cherishes for us. God is love, and he who dwells and continues in love dwells and continues in God, and God dwells and continues in him. In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love [b]turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear [c]brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection]. We love Him, because He first loved us. If anyone says, I love God, and hates (detests, abominates) his brother [[d]in Christ], he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, Whom he has not seen. And this command (charge, order, injunction) we have from Him: that he who loves God shall love his brother [[e]believer] also. Adultery (The Jesus Standard) But I say to you that everyone who so much as looks at a woman with evil desire for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart (Matthew 5:28). Partial remorse and repentance will bear fruit of its kind! Matthew 3:8 says, Bring forth fruit that is consistent with repentance [let your lives prove your change of heart]; REPUTATION True Believers are in Christ and have no reputation. Philippians 2:7-9 states, But stripped Himself [of all privileges and [a]rightful dignity], so as to assume the guise of a servant (slave), in that He became like men and was born a human being. And after He had appeared in human form, He abased and humbled Himself [still further] and carried His obedience to the extreme of death, even the death of the cross! Therefore [because He stooped so low] God has highly exalted Him and has [b]freely bestowed on Him the name that is above every name. Grave leads to Garden—Death leads to Resurrection Life. “They know not what they do” is THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE (Luke 3:34)! THIS IS THE STANDARD OF JESUS. Many in His Body do not understand the Crucified Life, which is the only Life (Matthew 25:31-46), but rather choose to Crucify! This can be taught, but truly only comes alive as we draw near to Him—His Heart—His Word, and EXPERIENTIALLY DO IT! As you ABIDE in the Vine, flowers and Fruit of the Spirit will Supernaturally be produced through the natural—YOU! This not to say we won’t sin, but if we do, He is faithful as we confess our sin (in totality) to forgive us (1 John 1:9). Some “practice” sin, which is a different story. 1 John 3:4-10 states, Everyone who commits (practices) sin is guilty of lawlessness; for [that is what] sin is, lawlessness (the breaking, violating of God’s law by transgression or neglect—being unrestrained and unregulated by His commands and His will. Many do not want (or choose) to die, even when warned. They MUST speak their mind and defend themselves, while being led to the slaughter! Jesus uttered not a word. He was oppressed, [yet when] He was afflicted, He was submissive and opened not His mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so He opened not His mouth (Isaiah 53:7). Also, Romans 8:36, which states, Even as it is written, For Thy sake we are put to death all the day long; we are regarded and counted as sheep for the slaughter. Goats and Wolves are rebellious and against Gods Kingdom Ways (John 14:6). WARNING! Goats and Wolves should not be leading Sheep! Goats butt heads and consume all the beautiful flowers which produce fruit. Wolves are cunning, and eventually will devour the Sheep. Rebellion is as witchcraft! Roots of witchcraft, control, and rebellion, many times are due to offense (insecurity), which causes wounds—deep wounds that become a breeding ground for flies, and infection is sure to follow. Beelzebub is another name for Satan, and means Lord Of The Flies! Our hearts must be healed of hurt, anger and blame, in order to not spread the “infection.” 1 Samuel 15:23 states,“For rebellion is as [serious as] the sin of divination (fortune-telling), And disobedience is as [serious as] false religion and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you as king.” Goats and Wolves can be transformed, if the fruit of true repentance and remorse appear. ALL things are possible as Mark 9:23 states, “Jesus said to him, “[You say to Me,] ‘If You can?’ All things are possible for the one who believes and trusts [in Me]!” TRUST IN THE LORD (Surrender vs Manipulation) The “Death Seed” of humility in “He is our Defender,” must be revealed to the strong arm of the flesh and its self gratification. Psalm 46:1-4 says, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. In the Book of James 4:6, it also states, But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Luke 18:7-14 says, will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth? To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everyone else, Jesus told this parable: “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector…” Solomon 8:5 states, “and Who is this who comes up from the wilderness leaning upon her beloved.” This is a beautiful position of peace and utter dependency upon our Lord and Beloved, Who is far above any and all things! FAITH There is no fear in love (1 John 4:18). “There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love [a]turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear [b]brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection].” “My Way” should be the Lord’s Way (Isaiah 55:8-9)! For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. May He find faith in the earth in us—through us—singing as One “We Did It God’s Way!”
