One of His redemptive names is the LORD who heals you! “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.” Exodus 15:26 From as early as Genesis 20 we see God heals through His human creatures. Abraham prayed and Abimelech, his wife, and his female servants were all healed. We, moreso, should trust that He would use us, we who are now sons (and daughters) of God with the very Spirit of God inside of us, to heal the sick. So Abraham prayed to God; and God healed Abimelech, his wife, and his female servants. Then they bore children; for the LORD had closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech because of Sarah, Abraham’s wife. Genesis 20:17,18 For I say to you, among those born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of God (YOU AND ME) is greater than he. Luke 7:28
