The NLT puts 1 Cor 3:16-17 this way: "Don't you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you? God will destroy anyone who destroys this temple. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple." Everyone cringes when a husband and wife fight publicly. They seem to forget that marriage is sacred. How much more sacred is God's marriage to His Bride, the Church? I know I’m preaching to the choir here mostly, but I pray that the people who need to hear it will remember that when they are tearing down the Church, they are tearing down God's precious Bride.
