Step Up—A Prophetic Time to Rise We are living in one of the most critical times for our nation—facing what could be the most important election ever, alongside the devastation left by Hurricane Helene, with 600 people still missing and over 110 confirmed deaths. The storm’s impact spans multiple states, with landslides, flooding, and power outages affecting millions. With these staggering numbers and other potential storms on the way, combined with the upcoming election, it’s clear that this is a pivotal moment for our nation. Now more than ever, we must rise above division, anger, and bitterness so that our prayers are not hindered. We need to unite in prayer, take action, and vote for leaders who will prioritize the needs of the people while helping in every way we can. Here’s the truth: division, jealousy, accusation, and unforgiveness will cripple the prophetic, prayer, and worship while blocking the breakthroughs we’ve been seeking. Why? Because God is less concerned about the motions and formalities we may go through than He is with the state of our heart. If we’re carrying our own bitterness or find ourselves emotionally caught up in someone else’s offense, we miss the opportunity to be peacemakers in a world desperate for healing. Jesus taught us to resolve this stuff before coming to God. “Therefore, if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you… first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.” — Matthew 5:23-24 (NKJV) This is not the time to get distracted—it’s the time for action. Let justice prevail in issues that must go to the courts. Let healing and forgiveness flow to those in desperate need of God’s grace. But let a clean and pure heart lead it all. Unresolved issues aren’t just distractions—they can open the door to something much, much darker. Don’t fall for it. It’s on us to help bring that healing, not only to our nation but to those around us, and we can never do that if our hearts are filled with unresolved issues. Join me in praying that His Church will step forward, clear the baggage, and rise together to present a living Christ to the world around us. Even better, choose to take that step forward yourself.
