Leaven is a metaphor in Scripture for both good and evil. Good and evil are like leaven, because a tiny bit can change the nature of a large lump of dough. A few who are devoted to a personal discipleship can be a mighty force for change in a nation. Rick Joyner (The kingdom of Heaven is at hand) Matthew 16: 6 & 12 (Jesus) 6 Be careful; avoid the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees. 12 Jesus was not talking about the bread you eat, but about the food that feeds your soul. He was speaking in a metaphor; He was warning them against teachings of the Pharisees and Sadducees. *Be careful of little ears of what you hear*
