Just wondering. I feel your anger is coming from a place of love and a sense of wanting Justice. We all want that. Taking responsibility, in my opinion, has the power to change us from victimhood to overcomers; taking responsibility is the path to freedom. In the Jewish culture at 13 year old male is no longer a child but a man. When I was 6 years a child a pediphile (this fact was unknown by me then, of course) approached me….Nonetheless, at 6 I knew what he wanted was wrong. I made one wrong decision. Because of it, I felt shame and guilt for 3 decades. The young men made wrong decisions. When my son was 10 to 12, he was groomed by a friend. There were many red flags. The parents see more now than before. Our fight is not, should not be, against each other. Our real fight is against the great deceiver. IMO the deceiver wants us all to stay victims in this tragedy—to not take responsibility and come to Repentance . Our loving Father is Just. He will work all things out for good. He sees the forest and the trees.
