MY TAKE ON THE DEBATE: I think Kamala Harris won the debate by successfully taking and keeping the initiative, throwing Trump off balance. But she did not win with truth. The moderators also sided with her against Trump. It was 3 against 1. It would have been very hard to keep your cool in this situation, but Trump could have won if he hadn't let some of these shots knock him off balance. For substance and and illumination of what either candidate would actually do if elected, this was sadly lacking, But for poise Kamala was more impressive than I expected, and Trump less so, though he did get some good shots in. I'm just sayin.... RESULTS: Kamala will get a boost from this, and Trump will have to go to a new level of communication and presentation. That's a good thing, If he does he can recover the initiative and win, but his campaign needs to use this as a wake up call and not deny what happened, not trying to call a defeat a victory. How a leader communicates is critical to how people will follow them.
