And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. Matt. 11:12 The woman with the issue of blood for 12 years was violent in her faith. She determined the moment of her deliverance. She was determined to press though the throngs surrounding the LORD Jesus Christ. I must have this! I will get it from Him! Violence suffered at her desperate need. He seemingly didn't even have a choice in the matter. We too can be like those ones, pressing through with violent faith, getting our deliverance from Him, the very source of life! It is His will. He is freely giving to all who come! He hasn't changed, for He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. But as He went, the multitudes thronged Him. Now a woman, having a flow of blood for twelve years, who had spent all her livelihood on physicians and could not be healed by any, 44 came from behind and touched the border of His garment. And immediately her flow of blood stopped. And Jesus said, “Who touched Me?” When all denied it, Peter and those with him said, “Master, the multitudes throng and press You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’” But Jesus said, “Somebody touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me.” Now when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling; and falling down before Him, she declared to Him in the presence of all the people the reason she had touched Him and how she was healed immediately. And He said to her, “Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace.” Luke 8:42b-48 See also Matt. 14:34-36 / Mark 6:53-56. https://morningstar.disciplemedia.com/posts/359?sh=T3y0BbVD
