Studies show that only a tiny percentage of New Year Resolutions are fulfilled. I think the main reason for this as a year is too long to plan most such things, but we should have a DAILY PLAN for accomplishing our personal goals. I think the Scriptures confirm this with the exhortations, "TODAY if you hear His voice..." and "NOW is the time..." The Lord's name is not "I was," or "I will be," but "I AM" because He dwells in the present, as do we. Yesterday no longer exists, and tomorrow has not yet come. We must practice living in the present to experience God, and to accomplish what He has us here for.
