We are in the Valley of Decision and there are two paths--the Path of Life, and the path that leads to destruction. On the Path of Life there is the light, hope, peace and joy of the Kingdom, and they are always increasing because there will be "no end to the increase of His kingdom." On the other path there is confusion, and every evil thing. There is no end to the increase of this too, until it has brought the complete destruction that it always leads to. Remember that in "the presence of the Lord there is fullness of joy." He will never leave or forsake us, but we can leave Him. So, when we start losing our joy we have drifted from Him. Repent from what has distracted you, and return to Him. You will know you're getting closer to Him by the increasing peace and joy in His domain, His kingdom.
