We’re coming into the time of “In dire straits” or “between narrow straits” of Tammuz 5784. “Judah has gone into captivity, under affliction and hard servitude; She dwells among the nations, she finds no rest; All her persecutors overtake her in dire straits.” (Lamentations 1:3 NKJV) I don’t know about you, but I expect God to act. He’s bringing us through the narrow way. It’s time for heart preparation for this crossover journey. As the church were moving into a new dimension of God’s glory yet to be poured out. The key to crossing over in the straits (the narrow way) is pursuant faith. Let’s press in together to go with God to the place we need to be positioned to receive what He’s about to release to us. Heart posture means everything. Let it all burn on the altar without reserve. It’s time to be ready to move and be moved into a position of the fully abandoned God life where all selfish desires die. As in the “In dire straits” or “between narrow straits” of Tammuz remembering the destruction of the first and second Jewish Temples, we must abandon any religious ideals that we’ve erected as to how “church” should be and who we should be.
