If we look at what is happening from a spiritual context we can see in Daniel 11:37 KJV Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. Some hermeneutical translations refer the desire of women as a god loved by women such as the fertility goddess. The KJV version translation refers to having no desire or sexual attraction towards women. Daniel was speaking about the future Antichrist, a king who will profane the temple and persecute the Jews. If we are discerning what the Holy Spirit is telling us through prayer and intimacy can we see what is happening as being perpetrated by the Antichrist spirit? If so can we glean into the behavior and characteristics of this spirit to better identify who is being influenced and controlled by this entity? If we do we will then have a better gauge into the accuracy of how and where to direct our prayers.
