I was praying for a brother and realized he needs the same thing that we all need... While playing the spiritual game of life, If you find out there's no way you're going to win, you are actually blessed, because someone played the winning move for all of us. What can you do? We can easily get focused on how good or bad where we're doing at the game. We can focus on how good are bad the other players are doing. Either way, we are all in need salvation, and there's only One who played it perfectly to win it for us all. May we receive His name (Jesus) and His Spirit to preserve us until His coming (the end of the game). The end was set up this way to bring us into a new beginning. It's better than the Jacob to Israel name change we read about in the Bible. He reached his breaking point and that was a gift of God. Jesus died for us in the flesh, so that we would not have to die in the spirit. He allowed His flesh to be broken and bruised for us. And He gave us His name...the name above every name. Accepting it and remaining in Him is not only our redemption, but our hope of glory. It's kind of like a legal transaction. What He did on the cross (the winning move) is signed over to us as we trust in His legal status to forgive debts and pay the ultimate penalty on our behalf. Then the Holy Spirit can come to administer our lives and seal us, until that ultimate day of redemption and renewal of all things. Accepting who He is and what He did (as a free gift) actually brings glory to His name. It's how He rigged the game, so we can all win with Him. Thank God for Jesus! We all need Him just the same, no matter how good or how bad what we think we are doing in our spiritual journey. Lord, help us all believe, in the name of Jesus! And send you're Spirit to minister to us all that the Father and Son transacted on the cross. ‭Romans 8:15 ESV‬ [15] For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”
