I'm at our MFM/MFC retreat in Fort Mill now, which is one of my favorite gatherings of the year. MFM is our MorningStar Fellowship of Ministries, and MFC is our MorningStar Fellowship of Churches. These were started to become true fellowships, not just organizations, and I think they have truly fulfilled their purpose as it really feels more like a family reunion than a conference. We have great speakers, worship, and ministry times, but I think the dinners together and the times of fellowship are highlights. This kind of interchange and bonding with others in ministry is so crucial to a healthy spiritual life. Though MFM and MFC have been growing a lot, its still keeping the personal, intimate fellowship growing too.
