I'd like to share how much I related to Tom's message on Sunday: I am the 11th child of 12 kids. My parents owned a huge 3 story log cabin on a hill in KY. It had a church yard below it and a stream that ran behind. One day, 3 years before I was born, my brothers and sisters were all down below in the church yard playing baseball when my older brother hit the ball out to the creek. They all went running to find it and left our 3 year old brother behind. Then my mom called them for lunch, and they went in but didn't know he wasn't with them. During lunch, my mom noticed he wasn't there, so they looked everywhere before finding him dead in the outdoor baptismal pool in the church yard. It hadn't been used in a long time, and it was full of rain water because leaves clogged up the drain. I wasn't born yet but I was so grieved over the thought of it that it would keep me awake at night growing up and I never wanted to hear his name mentioned because I felt in so strongly in my inner being. After I got saved and started reading my Bible, I understood that it was payback time through divine recompense. What the devil meant for harm God could use to save many. "Unless a grain of wheat fall to the ground and dies, it remains alone, but if it dies, it will produce a harvest, right?. I believe God has given me both his portion and mine for a double annointing. The enemy is going to get DOUBLE for his trouble! I told my brothers and sisters about it, but they don't understand. I had told them before that I identified with Joseph, and they laughed at me. My brother told me that I was more like Dinah, the one who was never mentioned again. I forgave them because I know without a doubt God is going to bring a great harvest through his his death and my prayers.. I also noticed Sunday after listening to Marianne speak that he died on the same day Joan of Arc was martyred, which is May May 30th. I used to pick random words from the dictionary and see if I could apply to a scripture. One day, I put my finger on the word pitcher. The two definitions I got were about baseball and also a vessel that holds water. Then I applied it to the women at the well and how she hit it out of the park when she ran back to town and told everyone about Jesus. Jesus told me that I was his pitcher. Anyway, I just wanted to share how much your message meant to me.
