"Resistance to tyranny becomes the Christian and social duty of each individual. continue steadfast, and with a proper sense of your dependence on God, nobly defend these rights that heaven gave, and no man ought to take from us." John Hancock What kind of tyranny could have compelled the American colonists to take on the most powerful army and navy in the world with just a tiny, poorly trained, militia, and not even a single ship? What could cause them to endure years of repeated defeats against an increasingly enraged force many times larger than theirs, and fight on for years? This was much more than a "tax revolt" as historians have tried to reduce it to. Being taxed without representation, which they had been promised in the their charters would never be done to them, was #17 in their list of grievances. Not only was their homes being seized and their property plundered, but their children were being taken and made slaves on British ships, never to be seen or heard from by their families again. So are our homes and property being slowly taken from us, but worse than that, our children are being taken! Now the oppression that the American people are suffering under by their own federal government is becoming even more intolerable, more terrible than the American colonists faced in 1776. Our children are being made sex slaves by an even more terrible evil that has taken over the media, entertainment, and the schools. Even worse, history's most cruel and deadly destroyer of civilizations, Marxism., has seized the minds of our young. The American colonists resolved that they would either be free, or die. Now we are faced with that choice again. What will we choose? It is not in the American DNA to be slaves of government, but to have government be the servant of the people. This increasing injustice and oppression from our federal government cannot last much longer. Great champions of freedom are rising again. They may be few in number, but freedom is both an immovable object and an irresistible force. Freedom is our heritage. This terrible tyranny that has nearly taken over our land will not prevail. The battle will not be easy or short, but the great oppressor will be driven from our land. America will fulfill its destiny--and be a place where LIBERTY AND JUSTICE WILL BE FOR ALL.
