“Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven…" are not just nice religious words to be repeated but a divine model that marks the start of the most profound prayer of faith. It signals a deep encounter with something beyond this world, revealing God’s highest intentions that surpass our present reality. Praying these words—uttered by the Creator of the Universe— with a heart focused on their significance, is an acknowledgment of a divine reality not yet visible but distinctly foreseen and attainable. This prayer, overflowing with potential, arises from prophetic insight and the intention to restore order to a fallen world. With the call in John 3 to be 'born again' in order to “see” and “enter the Kingdom,” the Lord’s prayer not only conveys the need for transformation but also boldly affirms the possibility has been seen and is accessible, despite every apparent contradiction. When we pray, let us also pray in this manner - not merely using the same words the Lord selected but seeing the same potential He sees in all people and in all things.
