Today we celebrate Passover, when the Lord provide His people with the escape from death, and deliverance from bondage, by the sacrifice of a lamb. As the Apostle Paul wrote, "Christ is our Passover" who was sacrificed for our redemption, reconciliation, and restoration in the greatest demonstration of God's love for mankind. We also celebrate "Earth Day" today, to acknowledge the incredible gift that this earth is. It says, "God so loved the world..." not just man, that He gave His only Son for our salvation. Christians should celebrate this too, not as the heathen do, but out of our appreciation for this wonderful world He made for us, that we should also love because it is His gift, and we should also resolve to take care of it out of love for Him. But don't confuse Climate Change with love for the creation. They are not the same thing.
