We must be careful in the Body of Christ to rightly divide the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15). Some ministers, in regard to Israel at this time, believe that some Christians believe Ezekiel 38 is the END, and that Christians who believe the Gog/Magog War could actually be soon, are looking to be “beamed up”! Some Christians may think that, but this couldn’t be further from the truth. We must stand in Truth concerning this, so our prayers are effective and hit the mark! In the 1990’s, the Lord showed me things concerning Gog/Magog, which I believe is upcoming in Israel’s near future. Two Different Battles🛡️ Although the terms Gog and Magog appear in proximity in both the book of Ezekiel (Eze. 38:2-3; 39:1-11) and the book of Revelation (Rev. 20:8), a comparison of these passages indicates two different historical events are in view. because Gog and Magog are mentioned as combatants in a war at the end of the Millennium ( Rev. 20:7–9 ), many have identified the two battles in Ezekiel and Revelation as one and the same. However, the events following the battles are quite different, as are the events preceding each battle. In Ezekiel’s prophecy, the battle of Gog and Magog is used by God to draw Israel to Himself; in Revelation the battle of Gog and Magog comes after God has drawn His people to Himself for one thousand years of blessing during the Millennium. These are two separate events for different reasons and have very different outcomes. In Ezekiel 38, God shows Israel and many nations that He is Lord! In turn, a great and mighty Harvest for His Glory will come! No, not the END, but a New Age—His Kingdom Glory Come! Prayer for Israel is vital at this time concerning Gog and Magog (and hordes). He Alone is their Defender!
