I saw an army of men on horseback with swords drawn, they were ready for war. It would be a great battle. I stood before them alone in my armor with my sword in hand. The horses began to run at me and I at them. With all my might I ran bravely and confidently towards them without fear. Just before I approached this great army of horses coming against me, I threw myself face down on the ground in prayer and went to war. Jesus said to His disciples “My heart longs with great desire to eat this Passover meal with you. Go into Jerusalem and you will encounter a man. Tell him that the teacher says, ‘My appointed time is near. I am coming to your home to eat the Passover meal with my disciples.’ ” Then Jesus led his disciples to an orchard called “The Oil Press.” He told them, “Sit here while I go and pray nearby.” He took Peter, Jacob, and John with him. However, an intense feeling of great sorrow plunged his soul into agony. And he said to them, “My heart is overwhelmed and crushed with grief. It feels as though I’m dying. Stay here and keep watch with me. ” Then he walked a short distance away, and overcome with grief, he threw himself facedown on the ground and prayed, “My Father, if there is any way you can deliver me from this suffering, please take it from me. Yet what I want is not important, for I only desire to fulfill your plan for me.” Then an angel from heaven appeared to strengthen him. Matthew 26:18 TPT ~ The Lord is showing us through this dream and passage that the way we are to fight our battles is through complete surrender, on our face before Him through prayer. That is when we will be victorious. The battle is coming, will you surrender and lay your life down for the Father as Jesus did? is what you what more important? Or is your only desire for God to fulfill His plans for you? Give your battles to the Lord, He can’t take what you hold onto.
