The most important sign of the times is not what is happening in this world, but what God is doing preparing the way for His kingdom. For all of the attention we give to the earthly signs, let us give much more to the great things God is doing. We are not called to follow signs, but the Lord. The signs can be helpful, but the main thing is to keep Him fixed in our vision. I once heard a Cuban refugee in Atlanta say that he really appreciated the big signs that showed him the way to I-85, but the ones he really appreciated were the little signs that let him know he was still on I-85! There are big signs and little ones to help us stay on the path of life, but the biggest of all is to be getting continually closer to the Lord. The signs help, but we're called to follow the Lord, not signs.
