What happened in the South Carolina Presidential primary? It looks like an irresistible force met the immovable object. Trump won even bigger than he was hoping, So, how did Nikki Haley win? She refuses to quit. Does Nikki Haley have any way of winning the Republican nomination? Probably not. Does she have any way of winning the Presidency? Yes. She is winning enough votes to be a very viable Independent candidate. She can win in a three way race against Biden and Trump. Is that Nikki Haley's plan? It's the only thing that makes sense for her to stay in the race at this point. Think about it. She's getting more than the 35% of the vote she would need to win the presidency in a three way race. She cannot admit to this now because Republicans would be unlikely to keep voting for her at the rate they are in the primaries. If she just does as well in most of the states on Super Tuesday, she could announce she's running as an Independent, and be the front runner., or very close. If this is true, Trump and Biden are both in trouble. The best way for Trump to nullify this threat is to choose her now as his VP. He could do worse, and may not be able to do much better. Not only is she a woman of color, but she is smart and she is a fighter, which he respects. Trump is confident enough not to be intimidated by her, but use her to get things done in his administration. They would make an amazing power team in the White House. I'm just sayin.... As a note to men, if Nikki Haley is an example of South Carolina women, you had better not marry one. If you do, you will not likely ever win an argument.
