“Self-education is, I firmly believe, the only kind of education there is.” –Isaac Asimov I'm not in total agreement with Isaac, but there is truth to self-education being the truest and most effective education. I have asked many people if they're working in the field of their degree, and it seems rare that anyone is unless they are in a tech field, engineers, medical workers, or teachers. Why? Because the education business has convinced us that we will not be successful if we do not go to college, and we need to do it right out of high school. This leads to many studying fields and getting degrees they will never use. There is a revolution coming to education. The only reason it has not come yet is because conditions need to hit rock bottom before such changes are made. Well, we're very close to rock bottom in education now, so it should be soon!
